Hello dear LINK employees.
Employees of the local banks first refuse to help and say something like:

In the meantime we should try to find other providers which feel responsible, especially at BROU. Cirrus is the provider of the ATM Network with which the cashpoints communicate with the data centres in Europe. (Für laypersons: This is something like the Internet)
The mistake could be in Uruguay, By any means, BROU is not the only bank concerned, which makes me assume the mistake is indeed to be found at Cirrus. I would say:
ATM failing for a short time is pretty normal. Nothing on the Newspapers, nothing in the net, employees of the banks try to make us think they dont know about the problem. Please help me bothering them with support requests.

Mar 15 2008 21:14:55 Today i could at least use one of the BANRED cashpoints in Atlantida.
Yesterday i tried exactly the same cashpoint without success. REDBROU, which i always try first, ist still not working at all. |

Tengo el agrado de dirigirme a Uds, por el siguiente tema: Vivo en Uruguay, y soy Europeo, desde hace 10 días aproximadamente, yo y otras personas que conozco las cuales también tienen cuentas bancarias en Europa y Norte América, nos hemos encontrado con la dificultad de extraer dinero de los cajeros automáticos ubicados en distitos puntos del Uruguay: El mensaje que el cajero muestra es el siguiente, "ATM out of service", y en el servicio de atención al cliente hemos recibido como respuesta que "Cirrus", es el que está teniendo problemas. Lo que me gustaría saber exactamente de quien es en realidad o mejor dicho en dónde es que se origina el problema, si en: * BROU * Cirrus * El proveedor de ATM en Uruguay (Anteldata?) * Algún otro Proveedor a nivel Nacional? * O algún otro Proveedor Internacional? Yo por mi parte he tratado de conectarme con Cirrus, Cirrus es su proveedor de ATM, no el mío por lo tanto considero que Uds. deberían de informarles y obtener soluciones de parte de ellos, si no tiene nada que ver con BROU. Cuál es exactamente el problema?(mal funcionamiento del hardware?) Y... Cuánto demorará en solucionarse éste problema?. Mar 23 2008 01:26:02 Today a friend reported that REDBROU works again.
Nevertheless it was like i expected: BROU never responds to (my) customer requests. |
