Buenos Aires, Nov 20 (Prensa Latina) President Nestor Kirchner announced a million dollar investment for drinkable water services and sewers in Buenos Aires and points of Buenos Aires suburbs, at the time he stressed a reduction in unemployment.

He previewed release of the unemployment data on Tuesday, which showed third quarter joblessness was 8.1 percent, down from last year's 10.2 percent for the same period. The outgoing president explained the importance of this for the government as a national model in process, with consolidation of internal consumption, growth and no indebtedness. Kirchner also said the average industrial growth, officially announced today, revealed an increase of between 9.3 and 9.5 percent for third quarter and maintained a cumulative 6.8 to 7 percent all year.
He announced that the works will continue after the beginning of the mandate of Christina Fernandez, who recently won the presidential election.
